This sundial is surrounded by some rings that, besides the equatorial ring (with the gold color outside) and the style, have no function.
The shadow of a bown on the style will be seen on the equatorial ring at the beginning of spring (around Mar, 21st) and at the beginning of autumn (around Sep, 23rd).
Time cannot be read on this sundial due to the lack of time lines on the equatorial ring.
