Remark :
This sundial replaces an advertising notice of a travel agency of the SABENA and therefore looks like an advertisement.
More than just the time, it also indicates more or less the date. A small bowl shadow can be seen on the table. This latest is divided in blue bands. Each band represents a zodiacal period. The shadow indicates the elapsed time of the Sun inside this zodiacal sign.
The picture was taken when the Sun was leaving The Fishes to enter Aries, so March, 21. It is just after noon.
Beside the sundial one can see a place providing some explanation about how to read the time and date.
