This sundial was made in Mergel. Harry Jongen, the last cutter of the stone of Zichen-Zussen-Bolder, was leading the 'Mergelatelier' in the training center for freelances (currently Syntra) in Hasselt. He has made this sundial for a Direction membre. See also his sundials at Riemst and Hasselt.
