Remark :
This sundial was installed during the 'Patrominial Days' in 2000 which had 'the time' as subject and for the exhibition 'Schaduw van de tijd. Zonnewijzers in Limburg' which happened in the museum at that time.
On the contrary to vertical and horizontal traditional sundials, the style has no 51° (in Limburg) with the horizon.
There is absolutely no style. One places him(her)self on a kind of calendar on the current date. His(her) own shadow indicates then the time. The time spots are placed on an ellipse.
The big axis is 6 meters long.
