The wheel, the motto and the letters inside the wheel have a symbolic value in conjunction with the religious thoughts of the man who has built this sundial. The letters also form children first names initials. Family doctor, Jules Geraerts has learnt the stone cutting with Maurice Awouters (see Houthalen-Helchteren). This is his first trial.
