This model is a square parallel to the equator. In the corners one can find the hours 6, 12, 18 and (24). The part from 6 et 18 is broader to prevent it tob e totally in the shadow at equinoxial periods. To ease things, the whole stuff is posed on a surface parallel to the equator. Should another carrier plaque be chosen then it must be adapted to the height of the columns.
