This model can also be called a 'trough' sundial.
Two sides are vertical and North-South oriented.
These sides are bound to third one on the North, this last one making a 51° angle with the horizon, which corresponds to the pole inclinaison.
The hour lines are parallel to one another on these three sides.
The inclining side shows time from 8.30 AM to 3.30 PM.
On the other hand, the vertical sides show times respectively from 4.00 AM to 8.30 AM and from 3.30 PM to 8.00 PM.
The calculation is the same as for a horizontal sundial.
This model could easily be made on a bigger scale in stainless steel.
