  Curator of Stedelijk Museum Kortrijk and chairman of the Koninklijke Kortrijkse Fotoclub 40 years long
  Publications about ceramics, damas, local history (Battle of the Golden Spurs), arts, etc.

Sundials
  About 1970 already made a vertical sundial; Hulste (Harelbeke).
  Since retirement: building of sundial small scales, some of which have been exposed in Genk, Rupelmonde and Ieper (Zillebeke).
  Member of the Zonnnewijzerkring Vlaanderen (ZKV) in Rupelmonde since its foundation in 1995.
  Computation of the sundial on the sundial house (Zonnewijzerhuis) in Rupelmonde (2005).
  Some contributions to the "Zonnetijdingen" (Bulletin of the ZKV).
